Wonderland Jalandhar : Punjab’s Pool Paradise

by Manuel Joseph

The amusement and water park is situated in Jalandhar, Punjab. The park offers a confluence of a waterpark, rides, shopping centre, entertainment, dining hall, etc. It spans across an area of 11 acres and thrills visitors with its aqua dance floor (which also plays local music) and wave pool. Its shopping centre is great for purchasing toys for children and Wonderland Jalandhar souvenirs for adults.

Climate of Jalandhar

The region experiences humid subtropical climate and has cool winters and long hot summers. Winters span from November to February while Summers from April to June with the weather usually remaining dry throughout most of the year with the exception of the South-West monsoon which occurs during July and August. The monsoon offers heavy rainfalls in the state.

When to visit

The best time to visit Wonderland would be during summers which last from April to June as it is the perfect way to counter the hot weather and beat the heat. However, it can be visited at other times during the year as well. If visiting during winter it’s best to visit at around noon and afternoon when temperatures aren’t too cool so as to avoid getting sick. A time to avoid the theme park would be during the monsoon season months which are July and August as there are rainfalls then.

              • Activity Pool: The pool has intersecting slides with twists and curves, water balls for playing around with and in-built structures inside the pool.
