• The online check-in process of LATAM Airlines (LA) for all flights can be completed within 48 hours to 70 minutes prior to the scheduled departure. 
• Upto 8 passengers can do the web check-in process in a single booking.

• The option is available for both domestic and international flights, irrespective of the source of purchase. However in case of international flight, you will have to complete documentation to be eligible for this process.
• When you purchase a ticket, the airline will provide you with a provisional boarding pass. LATAM will automatically complete the check-in, on the basis of the information provided by you.

LATAM Airline Self Kiosk Counter Check-In 

• The LATAM Airlines check-in at the kiosk begins from 3 hours to 60 minutes prior to the scheduled departure. 
• Passengers can use the self check-in kiosk to print their flight ticket, select the available seat, and print boarding pass. 

Passengers not eligible for Self Kiosk Check-In

There are some cases, when some passengers are not allowed to do self check-in from kiosks available at the airports. Such passengers will need to check physically at the airport. Such passengers are: 

• Passengers with non-machine-readable passports/visas 
• Waitlisted passengers 
• Passengers with unconfirmed bookings
• Unaccompanied minors
• Passengers who have booked an extra seat, such as for a musical instrument 
• Passengers traveling with a pet
• Passengers requiring special assistance, such as medical assistance, or meet-and-assist service, etc.

LATAM Airlines Airport Counter Check-In 

• The airport LATAM check-in begins from 3 hours prior to the scheduled departure for all flights (domestic or international). 
• Even if you’ve checked online, you must reach the airport at least 3-4 hours prior to the scheduled departure to complete other formalities. 

Steps For LATAM Airlines Flight Check-in 

Web Check-In 

• Visit LATAM Airlines official website from any browser (Safari or Google Chrome).
• Click on the manage booking tab.
• Add your ticket credentials and hit the search button.
• Follow the on screen prompts to complete the check-in process.
• After entering your details, you will be able to select a seat, preferred meal and option to add extra baggage.
• You can download your e-ticket and boarding pass after the process.

Kiosk Check-In 

• Place your miles card in the reader machine to allow the machine access to your credentials. 
• Add your ticket credentials and hit the search button.
• Follow the on screen prompts to continue the process.
• Prior to selecting a seat, you will be able to print your boarding pass.
• After receiving the boarding pass head to the baggage counter for baggage check-in.

Airport Counter Check-In 

• If you haven’t done LATAM Airlines check-in online procedure, then head straight to the airport’s ticket counter. 
• Present your travel documents such as your passport and/or valid ID, ticket, special documents, if any, such as a doctor’s certificate, discount documentation,etc.
• After this head to the baggage check-in counter to get your baggage checked and pay an extra baggage fee if applicable.
• After processing your details, the staff will hand over your boarding pass and direct you towards the boarding gate.
