Sunwing Airlines Cancellation Policy

• Under Sunwing Airlines cancellation Policy, the airline allows its passengers to cancel the reservation within 24 hours from the date of purchase provided from the date of departure that should be 7 days more at the time of request cancellation.
• Sunwing’s 24-hour cancellation policy will be applicable on all the trips like one-way trips, round trips, and multi-city trips.
• The 24 hours cancellation policy will not be applicable on the group reservation booked through the frequent flyer miles.
• If the cancellation request is processed within 24 hours of flight booking, then no Sunwing Airlines cancellation fees will be assessed.
• Sunwing Airlines does not provide a refund for the expiry ticket. Under Sunwing Airlines cancellation the refund will be paid in the future credit vouchers which remain valid for more than one year from the date of purchase.
• The Sunwing cancellation fees will be 49 USD per person for the people who are under 74 years whereas the cancellation fees will be 79 USD per person for the travelers who are aged more than 75 years and older.

Sunwing Refund Policy

• Under the Sunwing Refund Policy, the airline is liable to pay the full refund for the canceled flights and compensation for the delayed flight as per the passenger’s requirement.
• Sunwing Airlines will give a complete copy of the ticket in which the booking was made a week or more prior to the departure date of your Sunwing Airlines flight.
• Passengers can obtain a full refund if the trip cancellation is made 45 days or more before the departure, no amount will be charged as a cancellation fee.
• If a passenger wants to cancel the Sunwing flight, which is made 44-21 days before the scheduled departure then 50% of the booking value which includes taxes and fees will be charged as cancellation fees and the rest of the balance will be initiated as a refund.
• The refund time varies from country to country. It may take upto 120 days to verify and process the refund to the original mode of payment.

Carry On Pets

• Sunwing Airlines accepts the transportation without any charge. A pet should be properly harnessed and a certified dog should be trained as a Service animal.
• The pet will be permitted to accompany the passenger into the cabin but is not allowed to occupy the seat.
• A passenger must notify the airlines one week before the scheduled departure about the pet.
• Before traveling with the pets in Sunwing Airlines you need to make all the important documentation for your pet available before travel such as a health certificate which should be signed by your veterinarian that indicates that your pet is fit to fly and the pet passport or identification.

Booking Fee

Sunwing Airlines do not charge any booking fees if you book the flight tickets from the official website of the airline or at the airport counter.

• Sunwing Airlines offers an option for online check-in through the website and the app is available in the Play store from where you can book your favorite seat or issue your boarding pass conveniently.
• You can check in online and print your boarding pass from the self-service stand.
• The web check-in for Sunwing Airlines opens up 24 hours prior to your departure for the flights from the U.S.
• Passengers can check-in at the airport 3 hours prior to the departure and close its gates 60 minutes before the scheduled flight departure time.

• A passenger must book a minimum of 48 hours before the fight by using the Sunwing app or through the My booking portal on the official website of Sunwing Airlines. Beverage service is still available as normal, snacks and boxes will continue to be available for purchase onboard. For onboard purchases, only credit cards will be accepted.
