• If you make the changes to your flights after the 24-hour risk-free period, then you have to pay for the fare difference or a change fee as per Air Canada flight change. 
• You must pay a change fee of USD 25-USD 100(depending on the ticket type), if you make changes 24-hours before the scheduled departure.

Air Canada Flight Change Policy For Non-Refundable Ticket

• All ticket fares including Standard, Flex, Comfort, and non-flexible business or premium economy are considered as non-refundable by Air Canada. 
• All non-refundable flights are eligible for changes within 24 hours of booking. In this time period you won’t be charged any change fee. 
• If you make the changes to your non-refundable tickets after the 24-hour risk-free period, then a change fee of USD 75 for domestic and USD 200 for international flight routes will be charged as per the ticket type.

Air Canada Flight Change For Basic Economy Fare Ticket

• Flight tickets under Basic Economy fare are only allowed to make changes free of cost within 24 hours of booking.  
• After the risk-free period, you won’t be allowed to make changes to your flights with this ticket fare. 
• If you’re making a flight change to a more costlier option, then you must pay the fare difference.

Air Canada Flight Change For Standard Fare Ticket

• Flight tickets under Standard fare are allowed to make changes free of cost within 24 hours of booking. Post this period a change fee will be charged. 
• A fee of USD 100 for flights departing within 60 days and USD 25 for flights departing after 60 days will be charged as per Air Canada change flight system.

• You can change an award ticket upto 2 hours prior to the original scheduled departure. 
• You will be charged a fee of USD 100 for all tickets fares purchased under the award ticket criteria. 
• If you’re an Aeroplan Diamond member or have an Altitude Super Elite 100k status you will enjoy more benefits for flight change. 
• Aeroplan Diamond will have to pay a fee of USD 75 while Altitude Super Elite 100k can make changes for free. 

Steps To Change Air Canada Flights 

You can seamlessly change your Air Canada flights through their official website. Here’s a step by step guide on how to make changes to your flight tickets. 

• Go to Aircanada.com 
• Select My Bookings tab. 
• Access your flight booking by entering your ticket credentials like Booking Reference/Ticket Number and Last Name. 
• Click on Find and select the flight you want to change.
• After choosing your flight, make the changes and confirm them.
• Air Canada will send you a confirmation over your registered email. 

Air Canada Flight Change For All Destinations

• North America
  The flight change policy of Air Canada states that you can easily make changes to your flights within North American countries, including the USA and Mexico. All flight changes made after 24 hours of booking are entitled for an Air Canada change fee of USD 25 to USD 100, depending upon the flight route and ticket fare type. 
• All International Destinations
  All Air Canada flights operating to routes outside North America are also allowed for flight change. Passengers can change flights free of cost within 24 hours of booking. After this period, a fee of up to USD 200 will be charged, depending upon the flight route and ticket fare type
