• The change policy allows you to make changes to your reservation without paying any change fee, provided that you cancel your reservation within 24 hours of the date purchase.
• Fiji Airways (FJ) change policy is applicable only on tickets booked through official website, customer support, or airport’s ticket office.
• All Fiji Airways change flight requests must be completed at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure. No same-day flight change is allowed.
• At the time of making Fiji Airways change flight date request, the airline is not responsible for any other costs such as hotel or ground transportation. 
• Fiji Airways flight change policy within 24 hours would not be applicable on bereavement fares, military fares, and reservations made via frequent flyer points.
• The 24 hour policy is applicable to all fare types, classes of service, and all fare conditions.
• Fiji Airways change fee of FJD 448 may be applicable, when changes are made within 24 hours of the scheduled departure date.

Fiji Airways Flight Change Fee

For those who fail to make changes and modifications in their flight booking within risk-free span are entitled to pay a change fee. Learn about the criteria and how change fee is levied:

Fiji Airways Allowed Changes 

Fiji Airways flight change policy permits passengers to request changes to all booking components, such as a change in flight date, time, destination, seat selection, name change. 

• Fiji Airways change flight date
  As per change policy of the airline, by paying a reissue fee of FJD 336, you can change the flight date up to 11 months from the date of booking, provided that the travel must be completed by then. You can change the travel date through the Fiji Airways (FJ) customer service number or via the Manage Booking section at the airline’s official portal. 
• Fiji Airways name change
  As per Fiji Airways name change policy, passengers can correct their name on the ticket up to three characters in the first, middle, or last name. A count of three characters shall not be understood as three each for first, middle, and last name. Fiji Airways change fee of FJD 448 would be applied along with the fare difference if any. 
• Fiji Airways change seats
  At the time of check-in, passengers can pick their favorite spot onboard and make a seat change request. Also, the option to upgrade to an extra legroom seat in the same cabin class would be available for a fee of FJD 145 per segment, and any applicable fare difference. 
• Fiji Airways change flight’s origin / destination
  To change flight destination / origin point, passengers may be required to pay a Fiji Airways change fee of FJD 560. Also, a fare difference may apply, if there is any. The destination or origin change request only applies to the flight operated by Fiji Airways.

Steps To Modify Fiji Airways Flight

• Visit fijiairways.com
• On the left side panel of the home page, click on the ‘Manage Booking’ tab.
• Enter the booking reference along with your last name, and click on the ‘Search’ button to retrieve your booking. 
• Click on the flight itinerary that needs to be changed. Click on the ‘Change’ button to proceed. 
• With each flight change option, you may see Fiji Airways change fees along with any applicable fare difference, if you make changes after 24 hours of booking. 
• Once you confirm the changes, a new e-ticket will be sent to you via email. 
• You will also receive a confirmation text over mail and phone number.

Fiji Airways Schedule Change Policy

Change of a booking by Fiji Airways 

• As per airline’s change policy, the airline may change the flight schedule due to any requirement outside the airline’s control, and it has the right to reschedule a flight on a new date, and/or time. 
• Most of these changes would be minor, and passengers would be given prior notice on the same. 

As per Fiji Airways’ schedule change policy, here the following circumstance where Arline reserve the rights to change a passenger’s booking – 

• If there is a change in the relevant travel service associated with your booking.
• If required by the relevant essential travel service providers in connection with your booking.
• If any Fiji Airways carrier required a minimum number of passengers, and a minimum number of passengers has not reached.
• If the essential travel service provider advises that the relevant service is not available on your booking anymore.
• If the airline decides to change the Fiji Airways flight, it will offer you the travel credit of the same purchase price, and will not provide any other compensation. 

Schedule Change Under Visa Obligations

• As per Fiji Airways change flight policy, If you’re forced to return home early,  neither the airline nor the travel service provider will offer you any refund, rather the booking value of the unused flight segment would be converted into future travel credit. 
• At the time of purchasing a new flight, you can redeem the travel credit voucher, a fee of FJD 448 would be assessed from the remaining balance. Fare difference may apply
• If passengers have obtained in-house or third-party travel insurance, then the Fiji Airways change fee would not be collected. However, passengers would still be responsible for any applicable fare difference. 

Fiji Airways Flight Upgrade

The passengers are allowed to make Fiji Airways flight change upgrades to Business class, and make their excursion even more interesting.

• You can easily upgrade your Economy class flight to Business class upon fixed payment.
• To make a flight upgrade, send in a request to the airline. Upon checking your eligibility, they will send an email if you’re eligible for the same. 
• Remember, the higher your offer, the more chance you have of experiencing Business Class. 
• New upgrade offers, changes or cancellations on your bid are permitted till 24 hours prior to your scheduled flight departure.
