• Turkish Airlines allows the passenger to initiate web and mobile app check-in from the comfort of their home.

• Passengers who couldn’t complete their web check-in process, can easily proceed with the offline check-in method at the airport.

• The process of Turkish Airlines check-in online for all flights can be completed within 24 hours to 90 minutes prior to the scheduled departure. 
• Upto 8 passengers can do the web check-in process in a single booking. 
• Web-check can be easily done from the official website of the airline. However, for third party tickets, the web check-in process must be done via the concerned agent only.

Turkish Airline Mobile App Check-In 

• The mobile app check-in process of Turkish Airlines (TK) all flights can be completed within 24 hours to 90 minutes prior to the scheduled departure. 
• Upto 8 passengers can do the mobile app check-in process in a single booking. 
• For mobile app check-in, passengers will require to download the airline’s app and then they can easily complete the process. 
• From the mobile app, you can easily download your boarding pass on your mobile device. On the day of travel, you can head straight to the baggage counter.  

Turkish Airline Self Kiosk Counter Check-In 

• The Turkish Airlines check-in for flight at the kiosk begins from 12 hours to 60 minutes (Domestic) and 75 minutes (International) prior to the scheduled departure. 
• Passengers can use the self check-in kiosk to print their flight ticket, select the available seat, and print boarding pass. 

Passengers not eligible for Self Kiosk Check-In

There are some cases, when some passengers are not allowed to do self check-in from kiosks available at the airports. Such passengers will need to check physically at the airport. Such passengers are: 

• Passengers with non-machine-readable passports/visas 
• Waitlisted passengers 
• Passengers with unconfirmed bookings
• Unaccompanied minors
• Passengers who have booked an extra seat, such as for a musical instrument 
• Passengers traveling with a pet
• Passengers requiring special assistance, such as medical assistance, or meet-and-assist service, etc.

Turkish Airlines Airport Counter Check-In 

• The airport check-in for Turkish Airlines begins from 2 hours to 45 minutes for Domestic, 120 minutes for flights to Caracas, and 60 minutes for International flights prior to the scheduled departure. 
• However, if you’ve checked online you must reach the airport at least 3 hours prior to the scheduled departure, to complete other formalities. 

Steps For Turkish Airlines Flight Check-in 

Web Check-In 

• Visit Turkish Airlines.com from any browser(Safari or Google Chrome)
• Click on the manage booking tab.
• Add your ticket credentials and hit the search button.
• Follow the on screen prompts to check-in.
• After entering your details, you will be able to select a seat, preferred meal and option to add extra baggage.
• You can download your e-ticket and boarding pass after the process.

Mobile App Check-In 

• Download the Turkish Airlines mobile app.
• Log in or sign up to proceed further.
• Click on the manage booking tab.
• Add your ticket credentials and hit the search button.
• Follow the on screen prompts to check-in.
• After entering your details, you will be able to select a seat, preferred meal and option to add extra baggage.
• You can download your e-ticket and boarding pass after completing the process.

Kiosk Check-In 

• Place your debit card or miles card in the reader machine to allow the machine access to your credentials. 
• Add your ticket credentials and hit the search button.
• Follow the on screen prompts to check-in.
• After selecting the seat, you will be able to print your boarding pass.
• After receiving the boarding pass head to the baggage counter for baggage check-in.

Airport Counter Check-In 

• Go straight to the airport’s check-in counter. If you have done Turkish Airlines check-in online procedure.
• Present your travel documents such as your passport and/or valid ID, ticket, special documents, if any, such as a doctor’s certificate, discount documentation, etc.
• After this head to the baggage check-in counter to get your baggage checked and pay an extra baggage fee if applicable.
• After processing your details, the staff will hand over your boarding pass and direct you towards the boarding gate.
