LATAM Flight Change Policy

If you want to change your LATAM flight for a different date or destination, you must know the policies before proceeding further.

•  LATAM allows its passengers to change their flight up to one hour prior to the scheduled departure of the original flight. This policy is applicable to only LATAM domestic flights. For international flights, the changes can be done at least 1hour and 40 minutes before departure.
• If you change your reservation within 24-hours of booking, there will be no charge.
• LATAM change fee begins from USD 30 if the changes are done after the 24-hour window.
• If your LATAM flight is delayed by a few hours or the airline denies you boarding, you can change your flight without any change fee.
• LATAM allows you to change a reservation only if the booking is made through LATAM’s official website.

 LATAM 24-hour Flight Change Policy

• LATAM charges no change fee if the changes are done within 24-hours of booking.
• The 24-hour flight change policy is applicable to both refundable and non-refundable fare types.
• To be entitled to this flexibility, the scheduled departure should be at least 7 days from the time of booking.

LATAM Same-day Flight Change

If you reach the airport late or you need an early flight on the same-day, in such a situation, you can change your departure time instead of canceling the entire reservation. However, the policy is applicable to selected routes and destinations, and is subject to availability.

• For domestic flights, passengers must change the flight at least 1 hour prior to the new flight, if the new flight is departing earlier than the original one.
• For international flights, passengers must change the flight at least 1 hour 40 minutes prior to the new flight, if the new flight is departing earlier than the original one.
• The same day flight change policy is applicable to only passengers traveling within Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador.
• Passengers traveling on an international flight whose departure is from Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, Chile, Colombia, Peru, and the US can easily claim same-day flight change rights.
• The changed flight must be with LATAM.

LATAM Flight Change Fee

For Domestic Routes

• If you are traveling within Brazil, then you may have to pay a USD 60 LATAM flight change fee.
• If you are traveling within Chile, then you may have to pay USD 40 as a change fee.
• If you are traveling within Colombia, then you may have to pay USD 25 as a change fee.
• If you are traveling within Ecuador, then you may have to pay USD 15 as a change fee.
• If you are traveling within Peru, then you may have to pay USD 16 as a change fee.

For International Routes

• If you are traveling between South American countries, then you may have to pay USD 75 as a change fee.
• If you are traveling between South America and the US, then you may have to pay USD 200 as a change fee.
• If you are traveling to other international destinations, then you may have to pay USD 150 as a change fee.

• Visit https://www.latamairlines.com/cl/es
• Click on My Trips then go to Manage Your Trips
• You can either your email through which you made the purchase or enter your travel information
• Press Seek
• Select your reservation and click the modify button
• You can change your reservation accordingly
• Pay the change fee and fare difference if applicable and then change your booking
• You will receive a confirmation mail from the airline
