• According to Air Europe Flight cancellation policy, you can cancel your flight within 24-hour of making the booking. 
• The 24-hour risk free period is only applicable given that the booking is made 7 days prior to scheduled departure. 
• If a passenger fails to cancel the flight within the 24-hour risk-free period then the airlines can impose cancellation fee on that booking.
• Passengers requesting refunds for their flights will be evaluated first whether they are eligible for refund or not according to Air Europa refund policy. 

Air Europa 24-Hour Cancellation Policy 

• Air Europa allows you to cancel the booking within 24 hours of making the reservation. Thus according to Air Europa 24-hour cancellation policy, you can avoid paying any cancellation charges 
• You can cancel your flight within 24 hours given that the booking has been made 7 days before the scheduled departure then only you are eligible to receive a full refund irrespective of the ticket you have purchased.
• On the other hand, if you have purchased a ticket within 7 days of scheduled departure, then you won’t receive any refund even if you cancel your ticket within 24-hour of making the booking.

Refundable and Non-Refundable Cancellation Policy

Air Europa cancellation policy varies depending on the type of ticket and fare attached with it.  

• As per Air Europa flight cancellation policy, for refundable tickets, passengers can cancel their reservation and receive a refund of fare paid irrespective of cabin class. 
• However, passengers may have to pay an additional cancellation fee based on the fare rules associated with the ticket. 
• In case of non refundable tickets, passengers are not eligible for refund if the ticket is cancelled after the 24-hour risk free period. 
• However, in that case, passengers may receive the value of the ticket as a flight voucher for future travel, subject to change fee or fare difference. 
• In case of a cancelled Air Europa flight, every passenger is eligible to receive a full refund of the fare paid only if the reason behind the cancellation was out of the airline’s control. 
• According to Air Europa cancellation and refund policy, in case of no-show by passengers, the passenger will not receive any refund or flight voucher against the missed flight.

• If you cancel the flight with a flex or business class fare, then you are likely to receive a full refund against the booking. 
• If you cancel a flight with a Basic or Optima fare, then you will be charged an additional cancellation fee against the booking. 
• The cancellation fee can range from €25 to €150 depending upon your fare, route and timing of cancellation.
• The cancellation fees are subjected to change as per the demand in destinations and flight frequency as well. It’s best to contact the airlines to know the Air Europa cancellation fee and the exact terms and conditions before booking the flight. 

How to Cancel Air Europa Flight?

It is fairly easy to cancel the Air Europa flight without much hassle. You can either opt for an online method which allows you to cancel your reservation without going anywhere or you can choose the offline method which allows assistance from the Air Europa staff. 

Online Cancel Booking 

To cancel Air Europa booking, you have to access the airline’s website. Also, follow the below mentioned steps to cancel your flight. 

• Visit the official website of the Air Europa  Airlines. Enter your credentials and login to your account.  
• Click on Manage option in the dashboard to cancel Air Europa  flights.

Refund Policy 

The airline provides a flexible and generous refund policy to customers in case of cancellation. With straightforward and easy to decipher policy, Air Europa manages to make flying experience and services stress-free even after cancellation. 

• If your flight is delayed and subsequently cancelled for more than 5 hours, then you are eligible to receive a full refund for the cancelled flight. 
• In some cases, you can also request for alternate flight the next day or the same day if available to reach your destination without any additional cost. 
• You must request a refund within 30 days of the cancelled or delayed flight otherwise the refund money will be lapsed. 
• As per Air Europa refund policy, you can either request a refund of your original payment or you can get a travel voucher for future travel against the booking. 
• In case of travel vouchers, they are only valid for 12 months from the date of issuance. 
• The airline usually aims to process refunds within seven business days to process a refund. But, it may take longer incase, if the payment has been made through cheque or the bank. 
• In the case of a non-refundable ticket, you are most likely not eligible for refund; however , you may be charged for a cancellation fee for processing a refund depending upon the fare rules and the payment method used as per Air Europa cancellation and refund policy.  

Refund Policy Under EU261

There are certain criteria for customers before requesting a compensation refund. Under EU261, airlines have to offer delay compensation if the delay exceeds three hours and the reason for delay was under airlines control like technical glitch or scheduling mishap. The value of delayed flight compensation is derived from the flight’s distance.

Delay Compensation 

• For flights flying less than 1,500 km, you are eligible to receive €250. 
• For flights flying between 1,500 km to 3,500, you are eligible to receive compensation of  €400. 
• For flights flying beyond 3,500km, you are eligible to receive maximum compensation of €600. 

Cancellation Compensation 

According to Air Europa Cancellation Policy, if the airline cancels your flight without a minimum notice period of 14 days, then you are eligible to receive a refund or alternate flight. However, the airline does not provide any refund in case the delay or cancellation were out of the airline’s control like extreme weather conditions

• For flights flying less than 1,500 km, you are eligible to receive €250. 
• For flights flying between 1,500 km to 3,500, you are eligible to receive compensation of  €400.
