After the global pandemic, the airline has made some changes to offer children the safest environment on board whether they are travelling alone or with an adult. 

  • Air Europa Unaccompanied Minor service is mandatory for children between the age of 5 to 11 on domestic routes. On international routes, unaccompanied minors are required for children between the age of 5 to 14. 
  • The unaccompanied minor can travel alone as long as the minor is accompanied by a person of at least 18 years old.

Unaccompanied Minor Policy for Children Between the Age 0 to 2 

  • Minor of less than or 2 years old must travel in the same seat as the accompanying adult. 
  • It is mandatory for parents to fill and submit unaccompanied minor handling forms at the Air Europa counter at the airport. 
  • The accompanying parent can travel with a maximum of two children under 2 years old. 
  • As per Air Europe Unaccompanied Minor policy, the infant must travel in the same seat as the adult wearing a special safety belt provided by the Air Europa crew on board while the other must travel in the adjacent seat approved child seat. 

Unaccompanied Minor Policy for Children Between 2-11 years old 

  • Children between the age of 2-11 must travel with a guardian of age at least 18 years old. Unaccompanied minor services should be requested by the parent or guardian beforehand. 
  • Minors can travel on their own seats and may check the same baggage as an adult. 
  • There is no limit on the number of children aged between 2-11 travelling on board. 

Unaccompanied Minors travelling in Group
