• If your new flight costs less than the original one, there will be no residual value available to you once you have made the changes in your itinerary.
• Frontier Airlines allows its customers to make changes in their itinerary for free if the scheduled departure is after 90 days or more.
• If the scheduled departure of the flight is less than 90 days and you want to make changes in your itinerary, you are required to pay USD 49 as a change fee.
• If you modify your itinerary, whose scheduled departure is less than 13 days, the airline will charge you USD 99 as a change fee.
• For last-minute or same-day flight change, the airline charges USD 99 as a change fee.
• The passengers must have to pay for the fare difference, if applicable.
• Passengers are allowed to change their itinerary free of charge, if the changes are made within 24-hours of booking and the scheduled departure is at least 7 days later from the time of booking.

Frontier Airlines 24-hour Flight Change Policy

Frontier Airlines’ 24-hour flight change policy allows customers to modify their itinerary for free if the changes are done within 24-hours of booking. It is applicable to all fare types. However, if applicable, the passengers may have to pay for the fare difference.

• You can change your name, return flight, and travel date both online and offline for free.
• Passengers are allowed to change their itinerary free of charge, if the changes are made within 24-hours of booking and the scheduled departure is at least 7 days later from the time of booking.
• The policy is applicable to all types of tickets. However, passengers are required to pay for the fare difference if the new flight is costlier than the original one.
• The ticket purchased from a third-party agency will follow the 24-hour policy of the agency.

Flight Change Policy for Standby Ticket

• Frontier Elites passengers are entitled to standby for an earlier or later flight on the day of departure for free.
• The alternate booking should be the same as the original one, which means if you were booked on a non-stop flight, you cannot add any layover or connecting flight to the itinerary.

Flight Change Policy for Reservation Booked with Miles

• You do not have to pay any change fee for your reservation booked with Frontier Miles as long as you change the Award ticket eight or more days prior to the scheduled departure.
• If your new flight booked with Frontier Miles is costlier than the previous one, you must pay for the fare difference.
• If the departure is less than 7 days, you must pay USD 99 as a change fee.

Frontier Airlines Name Change Policy

Frontier Airlines understands that there could be a typing error while booking the reservation, which you might miss during the process, but see after you have already paid for the service. In such cases, the airline offers some flexibility:

• Passengers can only edit the name for minor changes or correction in the event of the legal name change. Up to three characters in the first, middle, or last name are allowed for correction.
• The name of the ticket must match with the name of the government-issued ID. If the name on the ticket doesn’t match with the ID card, the airline will deny boarding.
• Frontier Airlines never allows you to transfer the ticket to someone else.
• The passenger may have to pay a certain amount for correcting the name.
• Frontier Airlines name correction request requires both online as well offline support.
• In some cases, the passenger is required to rebook their flight with the correct name and void the original flight booking.
• The reservations made via frequent mileage points and are subject to the club contract are not entitled to change the name in case of error.
• The name change policy will be applicable to restricted, non-restricted fares, class of service, passenger types, and the selected cabin class.

• Select the one you want to change

Same-day Flight Change Policy

Frontier Airlines’ same-day flight change policy offers a very flexible change policy for situations when passengers have to cancel the flight on the same day of the departure. However, the passenger will have to pay a same-day change fee, which depends on the destination, time, and fare type. Here is Frontier Airlines’ same-day flight change policy.

• Economy class ticket holders have to pay USD 50 for same-day flight change.
• Summit and Classic Plus members are entitled to free flight change on the same-day of departure.
• You do not have to come to the airport to cancel the flight on the same-day of departure. You can do it by calling the airline.
• The same-day change policy is subject to availability of seats in the alternative flights.

Frontier Airline Flight Change Fee

• If you are changing the itinerary 60 days prior to the scheduled departure, then no change fee will be applicable.
• If you are changing the itinerary 59 to 7 days prior to the scheduled departure, then USD 49 will be applicable as a change fee.
• If you are changing the itinerary 6 days or less prior to the scheduled departure, then USD 79 will be applicable as a change fee.
• For same-day change, the passengers must have to pay USD 79 as a change fee. However, Summit and Classic Plus members do not have to incur any flight change if they initiate a same-day flight change request.
