Business Class Ground Experience

Adolfo Suarej – Madrid Barajas Airport in Madrid is Iberia’s main hub, from where it operates most of its flights. Although the airline flies from Terminal 4, check-in from the main terminal is easy enough. The main terminal has a priority security lane.

Business class passengers are given preferential treatment on the ground. From providing a dedicated check-in desk to priority security lane, access to lounge, and priority boarding, Iberia makes every effort to keep its business class passengers happy and comfortable.

Checked Baggage

• You are requested to not carry valuable items like money, jewels, electronics, portable computers, medications or business documents in checked luggage. If you ignore this notice, Iberia Airlines shall not be liable for any loss or damage.
• Each passenger is allowed up to 50 lbs as checked baggage with a maximum dimension limit of 158 cm. The baggage allowance will entirely depend upon your cabin class and ticket type. 
• All the baggage over 50 lbs will be considered as excess baggage and will be subject to an excess baggage fee. Iberia doesn’t accept any baggage above 70 lbs, in general. 
• All checked baggage is personal and non-transferable; each passenger must check in their own item.

Cancellation & Refund Policy for Business Class Passengers

If you need to cancel your Iberia flight, then you may be entitled to a refund. However, Iberia cancellation and refund policy depends on various factors.

• If you cancel the flight within 24-hours of booking and the scheduled departure is at least seven days later at the time of booking, then you can cancel the flight for free and even claim a complete refund.
• You may be entitled to a refund if you have purchased a refundable ticket.
• You may have to pay a cancellation fee of €50 to €200, if you cancel the flight after the risk-free period.

Flight Change Policy for Business Class Passengers

If you have made any error while booking your reservation, then under Iberia Flight Change Policy, you can make some specific changes.

• As an Iberia business class passenger, you may be allowed to make limited changes in name, date, and destination.
• The same-day changes are only allowed for flights operating within Europe, North America, and trans-atlantic regions.
• There are no limitations to the number of changes made in the date of the flight as long as the flight booking is valid.

OnBoarding

Iberia’s business class seats vary between short / medium-haul flights and long-haul flights. However, in both flights you will be given more space, so that you can stretch yourself.

Short / Medium-Haul Flights

On A319, A320, A320 neo, and A321 aircraft, the middle seat remains empty to give you more space and privacy. Additional spaces include:

• 76-81 cm between rows
• 43-45 cm seat width
• 7.5-13 cm backrest recline

Long-Haul Flights

On A330-300, A330-200 and A350 aircraft, the middle seat remains empty to give you more space and privacy. Additional spaces include:

Amenities & Facilities

Business class seats are already equipped with soft pillows and a duvet to keep you warm and comfortable during the flight. There will be a bright red amenity kit, which includes Germaine de Cauccini skin care products, ear plugs, dental kit, hair bands, hair brush, and a shoe bag. Families traveling with an infant can request for a bassinet on long-haul flights.

Dine-in Experience

Iberia’s in-flight meals are all about luscious Spanish flavors. However, you can select from a number of recently prepared menus to sample during the flight. The in-flight dishes are prepared by DO&CO, and depending on your diet, it prepares a nutrient-rich Mediterranean diet.
