Volaris 24 hour Cancellation Policy

There is a sudden need to cancel the flight, right after you’ve booked it. Don’t worry. Volaris 24-hour cancellation policy allows its passengers to cancel the flight within 24-hours of booking. However, there are some circumstances, under which you can cancel the flight and even claim a complete refund. Read below.

• Passengers traveling on a domestic flight are allowed to cancel their flight free of charge within 24-hours of making the reservation, provided they have not checked in for the flight either by electronic means or at the airport. Else, no refund will be initiated.
• If your domestic flight is scheduled to depart within 24 hours from booking, you have to cancel your flight by calling at Volaris Airlines call center at least 3 hours prior to the scheduled departure.
• Volaris Airlines offers a risk-free policy where passengers are not required to pay any cancellation fee if the cancellation is done within the 24 hours time frame.

Volaris Cancellation Policy for Refundable and Non-Refundable Tickets

Volaris Airlines doesn’t generally entertain cancellation. But in case a passenger submits a cancellation request, a penalty is levied on them and the refund depends on the fare type, route, and duration of the journey.

• If you cancel your refundable or non-refundable ticket within three days before the departure then you have to pay a penalty for it.
• You can cancel the domestic flight at least three hours prior to your scheduled flight.
• Volaris offers free cancellation until the end of the risk-free period.
• You are eligible to receive compensation if the cancellation occurs due to any natural calamity.

Volaris Cancellation Fee

Passengers traveling on a domestic flight may have to pay MXN USD 90 to MXN USD 110 if they cancel the flight. For international routes, the cancellation fee is between MXN USD 150 to MXN USD 200. Furthermore, the cancellation fee depends on the price regulations which are implemented for your booking. The airline will initiate the refundable amount within 7-10 days if your ticket is eligible for a refund.

• First, you have to visit the official website of Volaris airlines or download the Volaris airlines mobile application from the play store.
• If you are a regular flyer, then you can easily change your flight using your login details.
• Go to the manage my trips section and fill in your booking number and passenger name.
• After that, search for your flight booking and then click on the change tab.
• Now, you can edit your travel dates and pay the change fee.
• Save your changes.
