• You may not be able to check-in online if your reservation includes special service, such as you are travelling with your pet or people who require special assistance.
• If you are travelling with someone or with a group, the person who checks-in first should check-in everyone under the same reservation.
• Avianca doesn’t allow online check-in if your itinerary includes connections with different airlines. It only lets you check-in for the routes operated by Avianca.

How Soon Can I Check-in With Avianca?

Avianca passengers departing from the US or Canada are entitled to Avianca check in 24 hours prior to their departure. For international flights, the online check-in procedure begins 48 hours before the flight takes off. If you are unable to make an online check-in, you can also do it at the airport kiosk or at the Avianca counter.

Additionally, Avianca also suggests its customers to arrive at the airport 2 hours prior to departure for domestic flights and 3 hours prior for international flights.
