If these facilities aren’t enough, Etihad Airways Business Class passengers on US-bound flights from Abu Dhabi can complete pre-clearance formalities, before even reaching the United States. Cabin Baggage

• Business Class passengers are allowed to bring 2 cabin bags, and the combined weight should be up to 12 kg.
• The maximum dimension of the cabin bag should be up to 56 × 36 × 23 cm.
• The maximum dimension of the personal item should be within 23 × 39 × 19 cm.

Checked Baggage

• Maximum dimension of the first checked baggage should be 72 × 90 × 45 cm.
• The maximum weight should be up to 32 kg.
• Maximum dimension of the second checked baggage should be 72 × 90 × 45 cm.
• The maximum weight should be up to 32 kg.

Baggage Allowance for Infant Business Class Passengers

• Infants aged between 7 days old to 23 months are entitled to one item of checked baggage, weighing up to 23 kg to / from the US, and Canada. And up to 10 kg for all other destinations.
• Infants are allowed one personal item weighing up to 5 kg.
• Normal baggage rules will apply for children aged 2 years. They are also entitled to bring one pushchair or one carrycot, or one car seat for free.

In-flight Experience

Cabin & Seat

Although the seats and cabin features vary depending on the aircraft, you can still expect to enjoy comfortable and spacious seating arrangements. Etihad’s Boeing 787 is laid out in a 1-2-1 configuration, which offers each aisle access to passengers. Narrowbody aircraft, such as Airbus A320 and A321, have 2-2 configuration, where window seat passengers need to step over their neighboring co-passenger to reach the aisle. These aircrafts are operated on routes, which take 4 to 5 hours to cover. Although you can not turn these seats into a flatbed, you still have plenty of room to stretch your legs.

If you are traveling on a widebody aircraft, select the seat facing the window. It gives you a more personal experience.

Additionally, if you love your personal space, Etihad Airways offers Business Studio, in the 1-2-1 configuration. It has a higher partition and more personal space. These seats can be turned into flatbeds and have a massage function. In addition, it has a large side table, which allows you to work or store items. The small storage compartments provide a place for reading material, eye glasses, mobile devices, etc. and power and USB are each to reach.

To ensure more comfort on long-haul flights, guests in Etihad Airways business class will get a pillow, and duvet on the ottoman. Furthermore, Business Class travelers on Etihad Airways have access to a large and sturdy tray table that allows them to dine-in or work.

Amenities & Facilities

Special meals include Asian vegetarian, Muslim and kosher entrees.

Entertainment

On Etihad Airways Business Class cabins, passengers will be provided with a noise -reducing headphone. They will have access to the large touchscreen where they can watch hundreds of movies, tv shows, music, sports, comedies, and documentaries. WiFi is available with fees based on data usage.

Furthermore, passengers can navigate through the route of flight and destination the plane is passing through a 3D movie map.

Deboarding

If your arrival destination is Abu Dhabi International Airport, make your way to the arrival lounge. From there, one of the airline’s staff will escort you to the chauffeur (if you have booked) to anywhere in the UAE. Your baggage will be transported along with you.

In case, you are not using Etihad’s chauffeur, you will be given priority deboarding as well priority baggage claim upon arrival.
