• If the price of the new ticket is more expensive than the older one, then passengers are entitled to pay the fare difference and taxes even if the changes are made within 24 hours of booking. 
• If your new flight costs less than the older one, then the residual balance will become non-refundable and will be waived off by the airline.
• Singapore Airlines change fee in attribution to date, time, anime or route change is non-refundable.

• As per Singapore Airlines flight change policy, passengers are allowed to make date, time, and destination changes via the official website. 
• These changes made after 24 hours of booking will incur a change fee of USD 25.
• There are no limitations to the number of changes made in the date, time or route of the flight as long as the flight booking is valid. 

There are some additional benefits complied with making flight changes in date or destination as explained below:

If you’re changing your travel date

• You can transfer your additional baggage to your new flight. 
• You can transfer your seat option to your new flight if available. Otherwise, you will be offered a full refund. 
• If you purchased an add-on deal, you can ask for a refund.

If you’re changing your destination 

• Any add-ons purchased by you, such as additional baggage, seats, or other deals, can be refunded. 
• You can repurchase the add-on services for your new flight, such as additional baggage, seats, meal etc., subject to prevailing prices and availability.

Singapore Airlines Book Now, Postpone Later Travel Option

• With such an option, you can book your tickets now and make changes to your flight later. However, if you book in May 2022, then the travel should be completed till 31st December 2023.
• If you decide to postpone your trip, then you will be entitled to unlimited charges with the airline.
• Even if your complimentary flight change option gets over, you are still eligible for one additional change with the airline.

Guidelines For Flight Changes By Singapore Airlines

• Singapore Airlines flight change policy says that if in any case a flight is rescheduled or rebooked by the airline itself, then the airline will be responsible to assist the passenger. 
• The airline will not charge any change fee in this case and will provide you with the next available flight. You may also ask for a penalty-free refund.
• Passengers can also take the alternative travel option offered by the airline, such as another airline’s flight, surface transportation, etc., at no additional cost, even if the travel cost is higher. If the fare is lower than your original flight, then the balance amount will be refunded to you.

• All the flights canceled after 24 hours of booking are entitled to a change fee as decided by the airline. 
• As per the Singapore Airline change flight policy, a change fee of USD 25 will be charged, irrespective of the type of ticket or other factors.
• If flight changes are made through call or at the airport, then you will have to pay a small service charge as decided by the airline.

Steps To Change Singapore Airlines Flights 

• Visit Singapore Airlines from any browser(Safari or Google Chrome)
• Click on the cancel/change tab.
• Add your ticket credentials and hit the search button.
• Choose the flight you want to change.
• Click on Select new flights.
• If you had booked a round-trip, both your departure and return destinations will appear. 
• After choosing your flight, make the changes and confirm them.
• Singapore Airlines will send you a confirmation over your registered email. 

Singapore Airlines Flight Upgrade

• Passengers with Economy tickets can ask for a flight upgrade to Business class by using Avios or setting a bid. 
• During the web check-in process, you can also buy a ticket for higher class. You can do so upto 24 hours prior scheduled departure. 
• With a flight upgrade you will get added perks such as comfortable seats, priority boarding, access to airport’s lounges, premium wines, and other luxurious amenities.
